The Venue
Originally constructed in 1893, the Inn has undergone many renovations in its storied life. Today’s Nicollet Island Inn evokes charm and ambiance while showering its guests with modern conveniences. Our main event spaces include two updated banquet halls and a terraced patio. Our venue also boasts a beautiful bridal prep suite, an on-site restaurant, a bar, and boutique hotel.
Our updated and elegant event spaces include:
Island Room _____________________ 1,024 sq. ft.
The Island Room features hard wood floor and three floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the room’s private patio. This room can seat up to 60 guests for a meal service or up to 75 for a standing reception.
St. Anthony Room _______________ 1,320 sq. ft.
The St. Anthony Room features hard wood floor, unique stained-glass windows, antique mirrors, and in-ceiling wrap-around lights that can be adjusted to any color. This room can seat up to 120 guests for a meal service or up to 160 guests for a standing reception.
Events Patio ______________________ 560 sq. ft.
The events patio is adjacent to our Island Room and offers additional space for enjoying cocktails or dinner seating for up to 30 guests. This space can also transform to ceremony seating for up to 70 guests.
Bridal Ready Room _____________________
With sparkling chandeliers, large vanities, a full bathroom and spacious closet, the Bridal Ready Room makes it easy to perfect your hair, makeup, and wardrobe before walking down the aisle.
Main Dining Room ________________________
The restaurant at Nicollet Island Inn offers scenic views of the Mississippi River and St. Anthony Main. Our fine-dining restaurant is open to the public and operates independently from events in the banquet halls. For wedding parties wishing to privately rent the main dining room for their dinner service, this option is only available with the Property Buyout package.
Nic’s Bar _______________________________
Our upstairs bar is over 150 years old, coming to the Inn from a drugstore in a small New Hampshire seaport town. The bar features original stained glass and carved maiden heads.
With the bar lounge, the bar area can accommodate ~50 guests for a cocktail reception. Nic’s Bar is located within our main dining restaurant and is not available with banquet hall rentals. This space is included with the Property Buyout package.
